1 · Who you are buying from

EdgeExtract is built and operated by an individual developer trading as RedSugarTree — a self-employed sole trader, not a registered company. The operator's legal name and address are those supplied to Creem during merchant verification and appear on your payment receipt. Support and all notices go to support@redsugartree.com.

2 · The service

EdgeExtract is a developer-facing REST API for document extraction. You send a document (plain text, an image, or a text-layer PDF) and a field schema; the API returns one typed value per field together with a confidence score and p_null (missing probability). Inference runs on Cloudflare Workers AI (Clairic). Full request and response reference, input limits and error codes are in the API documentation.

You are responsible for deciding how to act on the results. Confidence and p_null are signals for review routing, not guarantees of correctness. Clairic is a preview model: one- and two-step arithmetic is reliable, long reasoning chains are not. Do not use extraction output as the sole basis for legal, financial, medical or safety-critical decisions without human review.

3 · Accounts and API keys

A Free key is issued instantly to an email address, no card required. Paid keys are provisioned automatically after payment confirmation and can be retrieved on the success page or via POST /api/v1/reveal-key, and are also emailed to the purchase address. Keep your key secret: anyone holding it can spend your quota. You must be of legal age and legally able to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for all activity under your key.

4 · Plans, pricing and quotas

Plans and prices (USD) are published on the pricing page: Free $0 / 1,000 extractions per month, Starter $9 per month / 10,000, Pro $29 per month / 100,000. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Quotas reset each subscription period. Only successful 200 responses consume quota; 4xx/5xx responses do not. When the quota is exhausted, requests return 402 quota_exceeded. There are no overage charges, no silent downgrades and no long-term contract.

5 · Cancellation and refunds

Cancel at any time from the Customer Portal linked in your Creem receipt, or email us and we will do it for you. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues to the end of the paid period, after which the key stops working. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans — see the Refund Policy for how to request one and for your statutory rights. Refunds are issued by Creem as merchant of record. When a refund is issued, access to the paid API key is terminated immediately (calls return 402 subscription_inactive); a later successful subscription payment restores the same plan and quota.

6 · Acceptable use

You may use the API for lawful document processing in your own applications. You may not:

• submit content you have no right to process, or content that violates applicable law or third-party rights;
• use the service to build or distribute unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory or harmful material;
• share, resell or publish your API key, or use multiple accounts to evade quotas or rate limits;
• probe, attack, overload or attempt to disrupt the service or its providers;
• reverse-engineer or misrepresent the service as your own.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, or where required by law or by an upstream provider. Where practical we will email you first.

7 · Your data

Submitted documents are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI and are not used to train models or stored beyond the request. We keep account metadata, aggregate usage and temporary IP rate-limit records. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected, who processes it, retention periods and your rights, including deletion.

8 · Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running but make no uptime guarantee, service-level commitment or warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Because the extraction model is operated by Cloudflare, availability and model behaviour also depend on that upstream service. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9 · Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedSugarTree is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or decisions made in reliance on extraction output. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.

10 · Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above will change accordingly, and material changes will be communicated to account holders by email where appropriate. Continuing to use the API after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
